will be going to a golf tournament. Would like to know what type of footwear is to be worn, to prevent fall, as the ground if rain would be muddy and defendly wet.

golf shoes
Golf shoes with the plastic spikes are acceptable for safety as well as walking or casual wear which has a good serrated sole . In most instances the latter has replaced my golf shoes.
As a spectator…either a trail running shoe or a light boot.
If it’s truly wet…bring yer wellies!
