I’ve been doing a kickboxing class these last few weeks, and have enjoyed it. It’s been £5 a session up til now, but now they want me to sign up with a direct debit of £24 a month, and also pay a £50 license/insurance fee, and buy a ‘uniform’. This seems like a lot of expense for 1 hours training a week. Is this normal?
Also, I think 1 hour a week isn’t enough, do kickboxing training gyms exist with punch bags etc, and how much do they charge?
£6 is equivalent to about $12 by the way.

It’s cheap — maybe too cheap. If the instruction is good, it’s a bargain.
Its normal…
seems ok to me. i’d go for it i was to join new.
The price seems ok, but 1 hour training per week only ?
Only if it’s being taught by Daniel Larusso and not one of those Cobra Kai dudes.
ye it all depends maask can you train more than one hour a week. see if they coach anywhere else and ask if you can follow and what price is it. yes it is normal to pay these prices its just not normal to do only one hour a week
wow, 6 dollars for 1 hour a week? I pay 65 dollars for 4 hours each week. Why would they have an insurance fee if they know what they are doing? Plus, who has ever heard of a kick boxing uniform. Get out plz. A normal class costs $50-100 for much more than 4 hours a month.
