Footwear for running on the beach?

I saw a video on youtube once where a guy gave an instructional about running on the beach, stretches, and gear you would need. when he ran, he put on these gel like shoes that wrapped around his heel and and toes leaving the top part of his foot open. as he ran with the footwear on, the sand prints looked as if he was barefoot. Does anyone know what this footwear is and where i can get some?
